Character and Citizenship Education
What is CCE?
CCE provides an integrated approach to addressing our students’ development of values, character, social-emotional well-being, and citizenship dispositions in a coherent and holistic way.
CCE @ JVS
The school believes that character is the first and foremost element that will prepare our JVnites to be world-ready. We are committed to provide each JVnite with a holistic education and to nurture them to be citizens of character who are active contributors of our society.
Through a variety of authentic learning activities within and beyond the classroom, JVnites experience being part of something larger than themselves and become cognisant of their roles and responsibilities in their families, communities, the nation, and beyond. This is encapsulated in our School Mission of nurturing world-ready students with the passion to learn, lead and serve.
